Food systems and climate

To set common objectives, ensure ownership and dissemination

Com4Dev works alongside its partners to help build bridges, facilitate the exchange of knowledge and make available tools and resources that enhance the impact of existing initiatives in the field of rural development and actions to combat climate change.

Sustainable and equitable food systems are at the heart of the major challenges of our time. They are both heavily impacted by climate change, and offer solutions for coping with it. Food sovereignty, sustainability of agricultural practices, resilience of rural communities: these are all issues that require collective reflection and coordinated action.

By supporting forums for dialogue, the exchange of knowledge and experience, the promotion of local knowledge, capitalization and networking, we are helping to amplify the efforts already underway to ensure that food systems can meet the needs of today’s populations, while preserving the resources and balance necessary for future generations.
