Youth and human rights

Com4Dev supports and promotes initiatives aimed at strengthening the place of young people, women and LGBTI+ people in the defense and exercise of human rights. We work alongside associations and institutions to encourage dialogue, the sharing of experiences and the dissemination of empowering practices.

In Europe, we also help migrants strengthen their right to access information by organizing digital workshops.

Young people are the actors of tomorrow’s world. Yet, all too often, they are still denied real access to their fundamental rights: civic participation, freedom of expression, education, decent employment and equal opportunities. Similarly, whole sections of our societies are still discriminated against not only on the basis of age, but also gender and social status. Promoting and protecting human rights is an essential lever for building inclusive, resilient and democratic societies.
