Eric Bernard

His thesis, defended in December 2003, deals with “Internet infrastructure deployment in West Africa”.

An associate member of the Africanti laboratory and GDRI Netsuds, his research continues to focus on electronic communication in the South, and more specifically on media and ICTs from a development perspective.

After twenty years’ professional experience in Africa, Eric is now based in Haiti as a consultant in social media for development. He founded the MESODEV project.

He currently works for the association Inter-Réseaux développement rural as director of the network.
