Fish4ACP, a supply chain approach to fisheries resources

In 2019, the ACP (Africa, Caribbean Pacific) Secretariat launched FISH4ACP, a five-year program aimed at improving the productivity and competitiveness of fish value chains in 12 countries. Com4Dev took part in the mid-term evaluation (mainly for knowledge management aspects), during 2023, of this project led by the FAO and funded by the European Union (EU) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). An opportunity to connect with a theme dear to the association and to promote stakeholder participation at all levels for the second part of the project’s life. There are also virtual tours organized by the FAO, enabling players in the various sectors to exchange experiences on certain themes across all countries.
