Com4Dev is an international cooperation NGO
that contributes to social and environmental change .
through egalitarian and impactful partnerships .

We are an organization made up of a collective of professionals from a variety of disciplines in the social, political and agronomic sciences, working for international cooperation based on equitable partnerships rooted in their different contexts.

Our approach aims to empower all stakeholders to take full control of their own development and change the narratives that affect them.

We promote the emergence of shared knowledge, the reduction of power asymmetries and the emancipation of the populations and communities involved in our projects.

We develop or take part in projects in a variety of complementary sectors (agriculture and food, cultural and creative industries, sustainable economic development, human rights) in which we seek to maximize the impact of activities by combining participative and high value-added social engineering methodologies such as context analysis, communication for development (C4D), knowledge management (KM) and theory of change (ToC) to :

We are also involved in multi-stakeholder projects in local contexts, to which we contribute our expertise, our methodologies and a variety of references drawn from our own experience, thus contributing through reciprocal learning to enriching results and strengthening impacts.

Our members

A community of reflection and action

Com4Dev’s members are all international cooperation professionals who also work in development communication in the broadest sense, and are specialists in various tools such as pedagogical engineering, community of practice facilitation, video and forum theater. Over the years, this collective has grown by affinity. Every year, Summer and Winter Universities are organized to reflect on common themes.
The Board of Directors, deeply involved in the life of the association, is elected by the members and supports a small team of employees who coordinate a network of close collaborators to form high-performance teams for specific projects.

Our values

Shared values

The members of the Com4Dev collective share common values that guide the projects they work on. These include the principle of cooperation in the etymological sense of the term – because unity is strength – the empowerment of the organizations and people for whom Com4Dev works, independence from any political or religious group, with respect for human rights as a compass, the inclusiveness of marginalized groups and the will to do no harm, because any action is not without impact, whether social or environmental.
